Hole 6
This par 5 is one of the hardest on The Coast and high handicappers would be more than happy landing on the green after four shots. There is plenty of room on the first shot although the hazard looms on the left and poor lies will plague the golfer who opts for the right hand side. The second and third shots for the high handicapper should be with a rescue club or a long iron and the middle of the fairway is the safety option. The green slopes severely from the back to the front so keeping the ball below the hole is a must. If your fourth shot remains short of the green, consider putting the ball from the fringe. | |||
